What is art therapy?
What cannot be spoken can sometimes be created.
Art therapy begins with expression - giving form to thoughts, emotions, memories, and experiences that may be difficult to communicate verbally.
Art helps make the invisible visible.
Once something is expressed visually, it creates distance and perspective. The artwork becomes a mirror through which individuals can observe patterns, emotions, memories, and inner conflicts more safely.
Expression creates release, awareness creates change.
Through repeated creative engagement, emotional release and self-awareness can gradually lead to healing, resilience, and integration.
